Overall score:    3.0/5.0

Overall:    I am not a fan of a pure woody flavor profile.  If you are, this may be a cigar for you.  Started and remained a dry woody profile, never evolving to an aromatic wood.  Good smoke volume, a bit ragged burn. A very ho, hum cigar.

Ambience:   Afternoon in the sunroom watching the little woman below,man-handle plants in the backyard.  You go, girl.  Sunny, warm fall day.

Appearance: Light brown, mottled, small veined, spiral finished with a short cap.  Firm.

Cut & Prelight:   Cut revealed some sponginess.  Very open draw.  Very sweet, floral aroma.  Draw flavor just like the Native Cameroon, somewhat musty and peppery.

First third:      Good smoke volume.  Very woody.  Dry wood, not an aromatic wood, but a hardwood.  A bit like chewing on a toothpick, rather astringent.  About 1" in the astringency has mostly faded, though the short aftertaste is dry.  Nice white ash and a fairly even burn.  Ashed at 3/4".

Second third:     Aftertaste sweetening and lengthening a bit.  Still very woody with hints of cedar.  More wood - ho, hum.

Third third:      At 2" it became boring and occasionally funky - abandoned. Long finish was kind of nice, but not worth what preceed it.
