Hype:       From the Davidoff website: "With its small size and individual character, the “Entreacto” lends itself perfectly to moments of light pleasure during the interval. Its specially created tobacco blend is medium-strong and aromatic to match the occasion, leaving the heavier moments to the opera drama. Right from the first draw, the small cigar format develops a pleasantly balanced and full-bodied aroma."

Overall:    Woody.  Really woody, alder, in the first portions, then a bit of white pepper and a strong fruitiness in the latter portions.  Smoke it v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y in the latter portions.  Great construction, perfect burn, lots of smoke.  Stays lit despite v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y smoking.  Starts medium and ends quite full.  Davidoff has packed a ton of flavor in this tiny package.  Nubbed it until lips and finger burned.  Awesome finish, fruity, sweet, cedar, a touch of pepper.  I can recognize a very fine cigar, although personally I may prefer a less woody profile.  A must try if you enjoy a woody smoke.

Ambience:   Evening in the sunroom after a day of deck building and cutting the lawn.  Got all the blocking in, got all the joists trimmed to length, got all the hangers nailed off.  I had to cut the lawn before the dandelions went to seed and the neighbors burned my house down.

Appearance: VERY tiny.  Smooth wrapper with tiny veins.  Long triple cap.  Firm and slightly yielding along length

Cut & Prelight:   Very sweet, woody aroma.  Cut well yielding a slightly restrictive draw with a sweet grass draw flavor.

First half: Thick smoke, initially bitter wood which quickly lost the bitterness and turned to tannic, sweet wood.  White, compact ash.  Dry, very woody finish.

Second half:      Ashed at 1.5"  Some white pepper.  Perfect burn.  Getting a little warm and aromatic, need to slow down.  Some sort of fruitiness.  A bit of cedar in the aftertaste.  A bit of a nicotine buzz.  Awesome finish, fruity, sweet, cedar, a touch of pepper.  Nubbed it.
