Overall score:    3.5/5.0

Overall:    Pretty rough looking stick.  Initially sweet and nutty with some pepper, then the nuttiness became roasted, the pepper abated, and the finish sweetened and lengthened, then the nuttiness transitioned to a cedar woodiness with a long, sweet finish, intensifying until the end of the smoke.  Nice.

Ambience:   A warm sunny day in the PNW.  Mid-afternoon, Mariner's vs. the Indians on the radio, little women hand-sewing butterflies for a quilt by my side.  I'm reading the WSJ and Sparky Imeson's Mountain Flying Bible.  Blissed out ...

Construction:     Pretty rough looking stick.  Very nice band.  No cedar wrap.  Slightly darker than milk chocolate colored wrapper with a long cap, BIG veins, and some tooth.  Wrapper is cracked at about the 1/3 point, but was not factor.  Barnyard aroma.

Cut & Prelight:   Cut perfectly and a good slightly resistive draw.  Mild draw flavor with just a bit of a tingle.

First third:      First puffs sweet and nutty with some pepper.  Over this third the nuttiness became roasted, the pepper abated, and the finish sweetened and lengthened.

Second third:     Over this third the nuttiness transitioned to a cedar woodiness with a long, sweet finish.

Third third:      More cedar, more sweetness in the finish.
