Overall:    Another box press with burn problems.  I am beginning to wonder why manufacturers mangle perfectly good in the round cigars.  Flavor evolved from green nut to leather to sweet leather and toasted nut with some spice.  Long sweet leathery finish.  None of the flavors were particularly dominant.  Ho-hum.  Have 3 more and will wait a few more months and try again.

Ambience:   Election night at Daniel's.  Short solo stop on the way home for a beer and a smoke.  Ignoring the election sitting by the fire editing some documents.  Sweet Sarah stopped by to say "hi".

Construction:     These are nicely presented wrapped in white tissue paper.  Nice milk chocolate colored wrapper with the foot considerably darker than the head.  Oily sheen and feel.  Double cap.  Moderate box press.  Sweet aroma with a hint of shit.

Cut & Prelight:   Cut well.  Draw tight.  Some pepper on lips.  Slightly sweet draw flavor.

First third:      Green almond flavor in first draws with pepper on the palate.  Slight harsh edge.  Low smoke volume.  Spicey but not sweet finish.  Leathery smoke aroma (nose hit).  Crooked burn - burn lagging along one edge.  Tight draw.

Second third:     Poked it along the lagging corner and it opened up the draw, increased the smoke volume, and sweetened the flavor.  Now a sweet leathery, and much better cigar.  Long dryish finish.  Would not hold an ash past 1".  Some cocoa.

Third third:      Burn still an issue.  Nuttiness has become toasted.  Long finish has sweet leather.  Did not nub this one.
