Overall:    A very good cigar.  Quality construction.  Sweet, aromatic cedar with a long dry aftertaste.  Very aromatic after it warms up.  A very nice, consistent, well burning stick.  Approaching the nub it became even more aromatic with sandalwood/mesquite.  Moderate nicotine buzz.  Should keep some around, say a five-pack.

Ambience:   Andrew said it needed some age.  I sorted the spreadsheet by age and found this.  Spent a few hours on the roof removing the sunroof awning in preparation for the new roof membrane on Monday.  Damned cold on the roof.  Little woman is in Wenatchee - get to keep the seat up for the weekend.  Late afternoon in the sunroom.  Made a few phone calls and worked on some documents.

Appearance: Nicely presented in a cedar sleeve.  Rather dark, smooth, shiney, very small veined, slightly toothly wrapper.  Quite firm along it's length with a rather short cap.  Seems heavy for its size.

Cut & Prelight:   Sweet cedar/sandalwood aroma.  Cut well yielding a slightly restrictive draw (I like) and a sweet grass draw flavor.

First third:      Quite cedary, with a slightly sweet after.  After is slightly peppery.  Sweetening in the after.  Somewhat flakey ash.

Second third:     Flavor intensifying, but remaining consistently sweet cedar.  Aftertaste sweetening and lengthening and drying.  No more pepper.  Burn even and slow.  This is a hard packed sucker, as there is very little softening behind the burn front.

Third third:      Just more of the same, sweet, highly aromatic cedar with a long, dry after.  The nub is quite spicey with sandalwood/mesquite identifiable.  Abandoned at less than an inch when it became hot.  Yielded a moderate nicotine buzz.
