Overall score:    3.0/5.0

Overall:    A mild pleasant smoke through 3.5".

Ambience:   Late afternoon/early evening on deck overlooking Puget Sound.  Hot.  Must of been pushing 90F.  Napped for an hour first, after great flight home from Roche Harbor (WA09) where we had a very pleasant lunch.

Construction:     Single cap.  Fine natural wrapper with small veins and a bit of tooth near the foot.  Nice cedary aroma.

Prelight:   Cap and wrapper split when cut.  Perhaps my cutter is getting dull.  Tobacco flavor predominates.  Tight draw.  Peppery on lips.

First third:      First few puffs were woody with some cedar.  Draw remained firm, but acceptable.  Flavor remained woody with a cedar finish.

Second third:     Flavors mellowed - still woody cedar, but now with a sweetish finish.  Burn started a little ragged and needed some wet correction, but settled down nicely.  Lots of smoke.  At 2.5" gravity took the ash.

Third third:      Cedar is gone - still woody, now with a sharp sweet finish.  Sweet and nutty as the smoke hits the tip of the tongue.  Exhale is followed by initial ashiness, then mellows to some nuttiness.  A hint of ash remains.  Ash note increased and the smoke was abandoned at 2.5"
