Overall score:    1.5/5.0

Overall:    Ghastly.  Beautiful looking, but horrible.  Little flavor, but very harsh, and ashy burning leaves.  Some sort of flavor arrived at about the halfway point, but too little too late.  Abandoned it just after the halfway point.  Like beating your head against the wall, the best part was stopping.

Ambience:   Short walk to Ballard waterfront.  Sitting on a bench watching the boats bob in the marina and the sun set over the mountains.

Construction:     Beautiful, oily, light maduro wrapper.  Mild aroma.  Cap a little short.

Cut & Prelight:   Cut tore the cap.  The cut end revealed an uneven bunch.  Spicey draw flavor.

First third:      Spicey, peppery, harsh, ashy first few puffs.  3/4" in, the spice and pepper have calmed, and all that left is harsh and ashy burning leaves.  Yuck.  Horrid finish.  Lots of swishing of water and spitting.

Second third:     Hope springs eternal.  For a moment I thought I detected a hint, just a hint, of nuttiness.  Pushed it a while longer then left it on a concrete block to go out and perhaps be picked up by a bum.

Third third:      Never got this far.
