Overall:    Beautiful cigar.  Nice wrapper.  Good flavor, nutty with cocoa and a very light sweetness in the somewhat dry, long finish.  Near the halfway point some woody character appeared.  Probably ages very well.  Draw was tight and smoke volume meager.  Responded momentarily to poking, and as such I suspect it was pretty wet.  Might be worth a box purchase and aging for a year.

Ambience:   Home.  Working.  Water and homebrew.  Then walking around the neighborhood.

Construction:     Gorgeous dark, oily wrapper.  Looks like a maduro, but apparently not.  Very fine veins.  Could be some tooth.  Nice double cap.  Firm, no soft spots.  Nice aroma of vaguely sweet tobacco.  Yep, this one smells like tobacco - go figure.

Cut & Prelight:   Cut well.  Tight draw.  Peppery draw flavor with lip tingling.

First third:      Tight draw and meager smoke volume.  Very peppery.  Seems wet - lots of smoke off the end, and a swollen burn ring.  I poked it, letting the skewer sit inside for a minute.  This loosened the draw and somewhat increased the smoke volume. Very lightly sweet, nutty, with a cocoa note.  Long finish.  White compact ash.  Ashed itself at 2".  Some pepper remains.

Second third:     More of the same, though some wood has arrived and a drier finish.  Draw still hard and smoke volume still meager.  Seems that the poke closes up quickly.  Seems wet.

Third third:      Not much change.
