Demonick's Cigar Pages

After smoking a couple of hundred different kinds of cigars I have come to the conclusion that cigars are a particularly personal experience. More so than wine or beer, and similar to personal food preferences. Some people love peas, others hate them. I like lima beans; most people do not. It does not mean peas or lima beans in general are good or bad, it means different people have different tastes in legumes. The Hoyo de Monterrey Rothchild is a well constructed, consistent cigar, made from quality ingredients, from a vendor with a fine reputation. I despise it. Others love it. The key to gaining value from cigar reviews is to find someone with similar tastes to your own.
